The Roving Richards

A family on the move

Ireland 2024

With Genevieve at Trinity College in Dublin to get a Masters in Business, and Charlotte studying abroad at University College Cork, we decided to spend the time we would have been in San Diego in Ireland instead. Adobe has a policy where anyone can work from anywhere for two weeks a year, so Mark took advantage of this policy to squeeze in an extra vacation. We took the direct Aer Lingus flight from SFO to Dublin, which is long but direct so much easier. As usual, it was very easy to get through customs and passport control. No line at all and a chatty passport official. Love Ireland! We took a taxi from the airport to our first stop in Bray, where the girls would join us once Charlotte’s train arrived from Cork. Heuston Station is a short walk from Genevieve’s apartment so she decided to wait for Charlotte and go to Bray together.
