Review of Nemea Greek Taverna

Just went to Nemea for dinner because the kids are at camp and we could. The place was hopping on a Tuesday night which isn’t common for San Jose. The food was super good. Served so hot you could barely eat it and just perfect. Greek but with a California “fancy food” flare. Service was also impeccable. If you don’t like waiting for your food, this is a good restaurant for you, the salad and one of the appetizers came out virtually immediately. We had the watermelon salad, the Garidokefthedes – lobster & shrimp croquettes, bell pepper compote & yogurt (very good tasted Greek), the spanakopita and the Lahaniko Flatbread – arugula pesto, Greek cheeses, tomatoes and olives which was just the right amount of salty. Mark also had the salmon which was crisp on the outside and tender on the inside, just really good food!
